Possible problems with sim
I have now had two banks contact me telling me I might have a problem with the security of my sim card. I had a scam call about one credit card account a couple of weeks ago. I had mistakenly clicked on an M&S survey that turned not to be a real survey but a scam. The scam call was supposedly to tell me this but I realised immediately that it was not from the credit card company but from some scammer. So I then called them and they blocked my credit card but also shut me out of on line banking. I was told I needed to check my phone for malware. None was found.
Today I wanted to log into to a different bank and found that they had locked me out of online banking. On talking with them they said it is possible that my sim has been compromised but how would I know this and what do I do!!!
So annoying that there is no help line to call
