Hi, my phone contract has just ran out so I'm looking to get a new phone. However I have quite a lot of data therefore don't need any data with my new plan or if I do need the bare minimum. My question is can you keep and carry over all your data in your exsisting plan?

So you can change your current plan to the lowest available in your account, then top up from your piggybank if needed. If you choose a new sim/ plan then that will come with a new number. You can't port your old number easily to that new sim, you have to port out to PAYG on another network the port back onto the new sim.

Find out moreIf you are happy with the data plan you have now then all you should need to order the phone only, if it will not let you do this then when you order a new plan and the sim turns up do not activate it so it is cancelled so you can continue using the sim and number you already have.
