Hiya I'm just wondering why I've still been charged for the phone that has been sent back

Returns are taking 2-3 weeks to process.

I got a message saying swap completed but still paid for old device this morning

Probably because it was too late to adjust the pending bill.  Either way you won't lose out as the additional payment reduces any outstanding balance.
