Payments

I made a manual payment to my phone the other day because I did not set up direct debit, the app says my bill is paid for the month but they keep trying to take more money out of my account, does anyone know if this will affect my contract or anything because technically I have already paid for the month if this makes sense, thanks

Overpaying as you have done will not affect anything contract wise.

If they are trying to take the pament then it could be because the terms and conditions state that you must have a payment method setup on your account, it doesn't have to be a direct debit as it could be a credit or debit card. So they are within heir rights to try to take the payment from whatever card you are making the payment from.

Do you now see a credit on your account ?

Re: Payments

Yes it says I have credit on my account, should i have not made the payment manually? Because I was not intending to make an overpayment, if that is what I have done does that count towards this months payment? Thank you

Depends on the timing.  If the automated payment was being processed then making an manual payment is against next month's bill.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

The credit will stay on your account and will be used to pay next months bill.
