Paying off balance for mobile

i only ower £48 for my handset as I only have a few months until contract ends, this has never happened before I usually upgrade, but as Im trying to reduce my outgoings im just going to carry on with the handset I have, so will i just carry on paying the sim amount? or can i have the option to leave and see if I can find a cheaper sim only deal?

You will carry on being changed for the sim only once you have paid the phone off in full and you can transfer your mobile number to a different anytime after you have been paying for the sim for at least 12 months.
