Travelling to India how add overseas plan?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere is no overseas plan so it is going to be quite expensive to use your phone in India as you can read about here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-mobile-roaming-destinations-and-charges
It would be cheaper to get a sim when you arrive and use that.

"International Saver
Adding International Saver for £3 per month will give you discounted charges on calls and texts from the UK and Roaming Passport Plus destinations to mobile and geographic landline numbers in over 60 destinations."

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs already noted, it's not cheap - current tariff (Dec 2022):
Data is £2.16 per MB. (Not GB!)
Making calls is £2.16 per minute.
Receiving calls is £1.80 per minute.
Texts are 50p each.
Check your spendcap too as those data rates will soon rack up.

I agree with first reply: Get a pay as you go SIM when you get to India.
Alternatively get a cheap plan from Lebara whilst still in the UK (approx £5 month, 1 month notice to cancel) and it allows roaming in India !!!! Just bear in mind they have to post out the SIM with holiday coming up and royal mail strikes !!!!!
