Over billing

Hi l am a gold vip member and on the 4 September l update my moble sim to unlimited but on the 15 September l cancelled it. but sky billed me for 2months despite only having it for 30 days.my sim was previously free with broadband so never had a bill so being charged £58 l have called several times each customer service can't help request a call from management 3 times and emailed sky still no response completely cancelled that sim l am refusing to pay double the amount where else canbl get help to resolve my situation please 🙏

When you activate a sim then billing starts against it so as you had it for 11 days then this is why you have seen at least one of the bills. Has the sim actually be cancelled and if it has do you now see a credit on your account ?

Sky don't use email for such communication.

 

If you are withholding payment then you won't be able to call them as it won't let you progress until payment is made.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

  • Hi thankyou for your response yes l cancelled the sim and was happy to pay the£ 29 but they have charged £58 as my billing is the 14 till the 14 so they are saying despite l cancelled l am going to be billed twice no credit refund. I explained there was never a bill prior as it came free so was zero for the last 9months no one is calling back despite several requests all customer service stating have no authority and managers always in meetings never had problems before but it seems customer service has changed? reading from scripts not very knowledgeable and very frustrating .Prior l would have given sky 10/10 now wouldn't give 2  always enjoy sky extremely helpful now suspend my account as l am refusing to pay as l have other plans happy to pay my other individual contract won't allow never ever missed a payments ever  at a lost leave sky ?

You have answered my question, has the sim actually now been cancelled by Sky ?
