I made an order this evening for a new phone contract. I received an email saying the order had been cancelled and then after an email saying the order was going ahead. I also received an information packet which only went into the data. I have no idea when/if any money is going to come out, if the order has even gone through, whether I will receive a new SIM card etc. I have tried in all ways possible to contact people and have had no luck. I've tried calling and have also tried going through the help page.

Unfortunately you may have failed the more in-depth credit check. It has been known for the notifications confirming or cancelling the order to arrive out of sequence. If you keep trying to order the device this could further impact your credit score.
If you call Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up at somewhere like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.
