Number not transferred properly
I've just transferred to sky mobile, I've activated my sim, and provided the PAC code to transfer over my number. I've received a text from Sky, informing me that my number has been transferred sucessfully
When I am not connected to mobile data, any messages and calls I make, come from the original number, not my transferred number
What can I do to sort this, I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

Hi,
I shared the PAC code when I activated my sim, had a confirmation text when the PAC was accepted and another text about 24hrs later saying that the number had been transferred successfully

PAC code submitted on Monday 4th August, text received saying the transfer was successful on Tuesday 5th August

Have you looked at the settings ton the phone to see if it is now showing your transferred number ?

Yes I have, and its showing the number that I transferred,
But whenever I make a call, or send a text, its comes through as the number that Sky provided when I activated my sim

One possible way around this would be to speak to Sky to ask them to send you a replacement sim as that will come with your transferred number and hopefully should fix this issue.

Ok, I'll give them a call tomorrow and arrange for another sim to be sent out
