Not receiving text messages from Sky
Hi. I've had a running problem with receiving text messages from Sky. This started in November 2024 but I didn't report it to Sky until June. Several phone calls later the issue still isn't fixed!
So the details. I used to the the monthly text about the bill (I'm the primary account holder) plus a text whenever you go abroad to a new country. I got both of these up to November but in December when we were cruising the Caribbean, I only had one new country text nd nothing for the bill. I've had one further new country text since then (should have had several more, another cruise) and nothing about bills.
I reported this in June and have had a monthly chat with someone from Sky. The problem still isn't fixed, they have tried deleting and resetting my mobile number, nothing. Yesterday I had my latest call, the phone number was again reset and the guy tried to send me two text messages, both shown as sent but I have nothing. As these are automated text messages I'm not getting it's not as if I can block the number!
Ironically, I do get text messages from Sky_UK asking me to rate their support! But nothing from Sky.
This is still being looked into but I'm getting nowhere and hence raising this here to see if anyone else has had this problem. I have a further call due in a month's time. Thanks!
