Not authorising my SIM card
ive just bought a MacBook Air from sky mobile but wouldn't give me the option to purchase without getting a SIM card.
What would happen if I choose not to activate the SIM card? Can I just pay monthly for my MacBook without my bills or anything on my contract being effected?
thanks

Re: Not authorising my SIM card
Hi @Jm04 yes, don't activate the sim, it will drop off your account and you won't be charged.

Re: Not authorising my SIM card
Sorry another question, when I go on the sky app it says my bill won't be available till I activate my account
will it still take the direct debit I've set up for the laptop and will I ever be able to see my upcoming bills since I won't be activating my sim?
thanks!

Until you receive your order you will not be able to see your next bill as this doesn't start until your order has been delivered.

The bill will be taken via the direct debit as not activating the sim plays no part in it.

Re: Not authorising my SIM card
My device had arrived this morning however it's still asking me to activate my sim card to see my bill which i don't want to do, is this bill supposed to be my SIM card and nothing to do with my direct debit?

Re: Not authorising my SIM card
As your device has arrived you should be able to see your bill within the next few days and if for some reason you can't post back here.
As stated earlier you do not need to activate that sim. The payment for the device will be taken by your direct debit.
