I'm in Australia and I'm on sos my husband is on same network and his phone is working ok

Could you have exceeded the fair usage policy? https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-mobile-fair-usage-policy

Roaming using Roaming Passport Plus is now limited to 25GB per billing period.
