No network settings/no signal

I have no network settings available and my phone is saying Emergency Calls Only, I am being told by virtual assistant to call Sky but I can't as my WiFi calling isn't working also. There is no live chat function with Sky or email address for me to contact them. Going round in circles here, trying multiple troubleshooting guides but getting no where. What do I do?

@Kingy6

Has it been working up to today ?

Have you tried a reboot of your phone ?

Are you able to try the sim in another unlocked phone ?

Re: No network settings/no signal

It had been working up until yesterday.

I did carry out a reset on it and I think it has wiped the SIM card, is this possible?

Re: No network settings/no signal

Also, I have carried out a software update, restated the phone and removed and reinstalled the SIM.

On my network settings, I have no network carrier.

Have you checked to see if you can get the network settings send to it:

Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

If you follow that link it should also show you the settings which should allow you to create them depending on what device you have they are:

Name: Sky Mobile Internet

APN: mobile.sky

Re: No network settings/no signal

I have also tried this! With no joy.

Surely Sky have a support team you can contact directly? I pay over 250 a month for all my Sky products, it is ludicrous that I can't talk to someone directly about my issues!

Hi @Kingy6

To try and get you some help I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a coloured speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.

Re: No network settings/no signal

Thank you!

It would appear I'm not receiving a Network Operator.

As it wont select one automatically and it won't allow me to Manually select Sky, as it says not currently available.
