No mobile network available

My phone has no network. It's not that there is a network but no signal, there are actually no network options. Under Settings and Mobile Service the only option is Set Up Mobile Service and that is for setting up a a new phone via an old iPhone nearby or via a QR code. Was working fine until today and bill has been paid. Latest software is in place. I have tried reset of the network settings with no success. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for replying. No network issues in the area, and have been in various different areas since the issue started. My mobile data shows as turned off- but there's no option to turn it back on. All it says under setting me and mobile service is 'issue detected' 🤷‍♀️.
