No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

For the second time in less than a week I have no mobile data on either sim card.

Quite frankly, if you cannot supply a stable connection then I'm going to look at having both contracts terminated based on the fact that you are unable to supply the service I signed up for.

Same here. What's the point of paying for data. When I can't use it.

Re: No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

I have 5 lines with sky and this has happened to me too AGAIN! Yesterday my tv streaming services went down aswell. It's shocking and no compensation or anything yet we pay through the roof for the services!

No internet on sky mobile

I’m having ongoing problems with my Sky Mobile data. When I leave the house and am no longer connected to Wi-Fi, my mobile data is either extremely poor or simply doesn’t work at all, despite having data included in my plan and paying for the service each month.

I’ve checked the Sky service checker for my postcode and it appears there is a known issue, but it indicates this may not be looked at until November. That seems an unreasonable amount of time to wait when I’m paying for a mobile service that I’m currently unable to use properly away from Wi-Fi.

Could someone please advise what can be done about this, whether there is a quicker resolution available, and what my options are if Sky cannot provide a usable mobile data service in my area?

Whilst the contract doesn't guarantee a service (others note) there is a clause about 'reasonable time'.  I suspect you could argue to be released without ETC under this basis.

Re: No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

Called the Sky mobile support number, got transferred roughly EIGHT times, I lost track around the same time I lost the will to live.

Both mobile contracts terminated without Early Termination Fees based on the fact that the issue with mobile data has happened repeatedly. If they're not able to provide a service I entered into a contract for, I'm not going to continue the contract and they can't deny they've failed to provide the services covered by the contracts.

Back to EE I go.

Re: No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

The signal coverage is shocking. You can't just remove masts to build new houses and existing customers are affected. It's ridiculous.

@Julz23

As Sky don't own or maintain any mobile masts they won't have removed any.

Re: No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

It just baffles me that this is Sky we're talking about, a massive company.

That and the fact that in 2026 people can receive mobile data in Kenya, it's not fast, but they can receive it, but I can't receive it in England with a company this large.

Unreal

No network

This is the second time my eSIM has completely lost network. The eSIM is active on my iPhone, Network Selection is set to Automatic and I have no signal at all. Last month I had the same issue and it was resolved by a software/eSIM change. I don’t want to keep resetting my network settings and I've turned my phone off several times and followed all the guidance to reinstate the network but nothing WHY is there no one in sky willing to help as I've contacted seversl virtual assistance and I can't call you as no network please help.

Re: No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

can't make calls can't receive calls been like it now for a week .. no message from sky no mention of apology .. no mention of compensation for the week no service .. I pay you regularly for a service ! You'd be on my back if I hadn't paid , so please give me the service of explaining and apologising and compensating for shoddy service

Re: No Mobile Data YET AGAIN

I wouldn't stand for that at all. I'd be on the phone forcing them to null and void the contract and going to someone competent

You do realise you're talking to other customers and not Sky...

Anyway, any mast issues showing: Service status (Sky Mobile) | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

As your issue is well before the recent outage.
