No Caller ID

I am being bombarded by a stalker who constantly calls me with no caller ID. If I pick up the call, he is clearly doing something to himself. I have no protection against this, as I can't block a caller with no ID. The police can't do anything, as they can't trace the call. I do 1471, and all that comes up is "unable to identify the caller as they have withheld their number." Sky has offered no assistance, as again they say they can't do anything about No Caller ID. Yes, I could change my number, but I am a counsellor and ethically, clients need to contact me in case of mental health emergencies. Informing the past 10 years of clients of a change of number will be impossible.

I feel really let down by the police and Sky. Has anyone suffered this? What was your solution?

@BeverleyH All you can do is stop answering the call. I don't answer any calls from any with no caller ID. As frustrating as it is, Sky and the police really are as in the dark as you are. Without a number neither can trace the source of the call.

Are you saying you don't want to block them or can't?  (As most phones do have a setting to block them)
