New phone with old sim issues

I have transferred my sim to a new phone but unfortunately although I can make and receive calls, none of my incoming calls show contact numbers or names just showing as unknown. Could anyone offer any advice please?

Can you explain exactly what you did?  Remove SIM and put in new phone?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
