I just ordered and paid for a new contract phone. Upfront payment has been taken and received an email stating the, Sky Mobile will be intouch when the order is confirmed and all details checked. Does anyone know how long this step takes. Thank you in advance.

Find out moreThe reason for the delay is further checks are carried out via a second deeper credit check on you, I'm not sure these checks will take place now or from Monday onwards at the earliest but should you pass these Sky should send you an email with an estimated delivery schedule. Should you fail this checks it will be a cancellation email that you will be sent.

Thank you for your reply. If they cancel the order due to further checks the £100 upfront payment Sky has taken will also be refunded.

Yes it will, although you might have to chase them for it but hopefully it will not come to that so keep an eye on your emails over the new 2-4 days.
