New iPhone

I took rental of a Iphone 16 Pro Max phone, I was offered insurance on it, I got it delivered but wish I took out the insurance, am I too late?  I have not had the phone out of the box yet.

It might be cheaper to add AppleCare on the new phone. I did this rather than take out Sky's own.
