New deal setup as a second sim rather than replacing the existing one.

Sky recently offered me a Diamond VIP member deal including unlimited data.  I took it but expected it to replace the existing sim and number that I have but its been setup as a second sim.  How do I cancel the existing one but keep the same number as I don't need 2 accounts or 2 charges.

Taking out a new sim does mean a new one with a plan, not sure what one you want to cancel so if it this unlimited one you would need to call Sky on 150.
