New SIM number

Where do Sky send the text for the new number for a new SIM? Mine is for electronic gates, not a phone so it can't be sent to the SIM itself. I did out in my contact number when I arranged the account/ SIM

Hi @TimRees  your message isn't very clear ? Are you trying to activate a sim for a gate opening system ? If yes then put it in a phone to activate it then move it to where you want to use it. Assuming you have checked it will do what you want ?

thanks again. So SkY will text the number to the phone with the new SIM in and not the contact number I gave when I purchased the SIM?

Once the SIM is activated the phone number shows on your account.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
