New Phone plans

Good day to all.

I recently got my self a new phone with a new SIM card with Sky mobile. I already had a Sim contract with Sky. So I'm now confused as to how to set this all up please can someone help?

what I am after is the new phone with the old SIM card, but the new SIM card that came with the phone has a better contract than the old one which was just Sim only. 
I know this is long winded and I hope some kind person can get there head round this. But I really don't want to be changing phone numbers at my age it's taken a life time to remember my old number lol.

So New Phone.

New SIM card with New Number

Old Phone with Sim only Contract.

what I want is 

New Phone with New SIM card contract  but with my old phone number and then to end the Sim only contract.

I really hope that makes sense.

Hi @SteveCotty  you have two options, first option is you port your old number to another network on PAYG using a PAC then port it back onto the new sim. You can't port from sky sim to sky sim. The second option is call sky and ask if they will put the new plan on the old sim, but don't be surprised if they say no as that's what they said when I tried that.
