Moved from EE to Sky

I have just cancelled with EE, sky said they are transferring my number. But I seem to still be on my EE contract on my new phone. Do I need to use the pac code? Or will sky change my number over and cancel my EE contract?

Hi @Sian2803  to transfer the number you definitely need to give sky the PAC. Once you do that then the next working day your number will transfer and your EE contract would be cancelled.

Just to add @Sian2803  if you have already cancelled your EE account then that number will be lost.

Sky can not transfer the number via a Pac code if you did cancel it with EE so did you actually cancel it because if it is you will have to use the number that has come with the Sky sim.

Thank you, when I went to give the pac code, it gives me only my old number to change from and too..

I haven't asked EE to cancel yet, as I was hoping the pac code would sort this for me

What old number is this, an old Sky one ?

I have the PAC code from EE, when I click on the transfer my number button, it asks for the code, then asks which number I want to keep. So I put in my number that I had with EE. I then brings up a page saying switch from the EE number to the EE number.. not the sky number! I also have a primary number and a secondary number when I search 'my number' in settings.

I think you would be best of calling Sky on 150 about this so make sure your Sky sim is activated and put in the phone when making this call.

150 is customer service for sky mobile from a sky sim also @Sian2803
