Move to Ireland - Stuck in a loop
Hi,
I just moved to ROI. I still have a UK mobile number which I can't use to contact Sky Ireland as my service provider won't allow it. I want to buy 2 Sky SIM packages and a TV package and the Whatsapp helpdesk is telling me that I can't buy an Irish mobile number without an Irish mobile number. Anyone got a workaround please?

Re: Move to Ireland - Stuck in a loop
I'm not familiar with the Irish sim card system, but if I were in the UK I'd pop along to a supermarket and look for a sim pack with the mobile number printed on the back (these are pre-allocated and don't normally need a topup to work), and grab that sim and use that number as a stopgap. In the UK some Vodafone sims are still pre-allocated (Asda too but I don't think you get the over there).
