Mobile use in France

I am a Sky VIP Diamond member and I noticed on my latest bill that I was charged £2 for passport. Because Sky Mobile is so poor I did not use my recently purchased iPhone 17. I did not use my phone so how is it possible to incur this charge. Bill has been paid in full. Next visit to France is in September so might leave it at home which defeats the object of buying a new iPhone 17

@John+B

Charges will apply when you send a text, make a call or use a very small amount of data. This would kick in just by switching the device on.

If you are a Diamond VIP member then the £2 charge no longer applies.
