Mobile billing when contract expired

I received email saying my contract had finished and I was not due to at any more money. I then get notify by text saying I'm overdue and not paid my bill. Please explain!

Usually you have a device and a dataplan.

 

When the device plan finishes the dataplan continues until you give notice to cancel it.

 

If you have a SIM with Sky then you need to pay for it...

And if you've subsequently cancelled your continuous payment method that's why you're in arrears.
