Mobile bill date

Changed my bill date from the 19th of the month to the 14th, my bill went from £48.50 to £80.50 why would this be? I can understand the bill being a bit higher but not that high! Can’t get through to anyone so thought I’d ask here.

Hi @Nb871  as you have changed the billing date the bill covers a longer period, the bill should show the breakdown of charges.

Yes, a payment of £32 twice and a £16.50, why would a 4 day change in payment date make up a full months payment

Changing payment date doesn't just move that date.  It completely recalculates - as noted, billing is completely itemised with dates so you should be able to see what's changed.  It's also possible a payment may be 'skipped' for one month to the next (and the higher bill reflects this)

 

Billing is also in advance so it may not recalculate as you'd expect.  Check future bills too.  We can't see them of course...

If they are show that date then you might want to call Sky on 150 about this.

There should not be any overlapping periods (double charged).
