Hi, hoping someone can help!
I received a call purporting to be from Sky. They said someone had ordered a new mobile device from my account. I was not asked for any personal details but just to confirm I did not live at the address the phone was ordered from or know anyone who lived there.
My signal went after that call and I could not make any outgoing calls. In the meantime my mobile banking app was compromised . That is now in hand (after a hell of a lot of time and effort).
I still can't make any outgoing phone calls from my mobile and it's a maze of information on the Sky site which gives no real information on how to report the issue to Sky, so I can make calls again.
It seems these mobile phone companies have made the process of reporting issues so complicated that the criminals have plenty to time to control your phone and account. Madness.
So can anyone tell me who or how I report this issue to Sky to try and resolve it please? I've phone the customer service number and it would be easier and probably more informative to use a crystal ball. I'm guessing there is no direct phone number but is there a email or text message service that I can use? Cheers.
