In 30 odd years of using all manner of mobiles, I've never had an app before that is supposedly helping to manage the sim and phone, and there's NOTHING online about this app, or what it's supposed to do, and given I'm having a number of deal breaker issues with Sky mobile, I'm trying to get to the bottom of it.
The Sky IE menu app seems to have no settings as such, if I open it, I get two lines of text that says SKY IE Menu, and Roaming, if I hit roaming, which I'm not, as I,m in theory using my home network, it then shows Roaming, and three lines, Automatic, Sky settings, and Partner settings.
Automatic comes back as already active, cancel or OK,
Sky settings just goes back to the previous menu,
Partner settings goes off and supposedly updates something, but then it screws the phone up, and if I go into setting, and check the APN information it has lost the Sky APN, and put a Swedish APN file in to the phone, but it's not shown as active, but the result seems to be issues then with getting things to work correctly, the fix seems to be to get the system to resend the network option, and reinstall the Sky.mobile APN, and reboot the phone.
So, what is this app supposed to be doing, and why do we have it, there's several issues going on, and it seems that the support services here are clueless at the moment, and have no answers,
I'm not seeing 5g connections, despite being very close to a 5g mast, which is worrying, as the phone (Samsung A34 5G) is 5g capable, and 5g worked with the previous provider with no problems.
In addition, a few days ago, I went out from home to a local retail park, and was less than happy to find that despite being in a good signal area, and on 4G, I had no mobile data, so couldn't access the site I needed to get the order information, even after turning WiFI off, to make sure that it wasn't a strange issue with WiFI that was blocking mobile data.
We've a trip to Europe coming up, and the coverage in Europe at the start of the Ireland network was almost none existent, despite there being a Vodafone network in the area, and we're going to the same area again in a few weeks time, and if I can't be sure that we're going to be seeing an improvement very soon, I'm going to bail out of this shambles, and go back to a different provider, given that there's another issue that's still unresolved a month down the line, Sky UK mobile customers can't place calls to Sky Ireland mobiles, the system says 'Route not found', and this is now a month down the line with no resolution, and it's a major pain,
Sky Ireland seem to be in the dark on much of this at the moment, and I'm not sure I want to be the debug tester any more, the time this is sucking up is becoming unreal, and these sorts of issues should have been sorted before launch, not being found by the users a month or two down the line.

We're roaming in Europe again this weekend, in the same area, and after an update from Samsung recently, things seem to be behaving better on the mobile, it seems to have WiFi calling , and 5G seems to be working now, so we'll see what happens this trip, it's make or break time, we've given the tech people more than enough time to sort out the mess of the go live period, and it took them over a month to sort out why SkyUK couldn't call us on Sky Ireland, land line or mobile, that was a nightmare.

I have the same problem. And ongoing since I've switched to Sky. Shambolic reception everywhere and no wifi calling. And my son is the same. Can this be sorted asap. Really annoying. I had no phone reception last Sunday and only 500 m from a mast.
