Mobile Data
Since the 7th May I have had to roll over 80GB of data. I have not been on my phone much and my data is only turned on when needed. There is no way I am using lots and it is being drained.
on the 8th May I rolled over around 50gb and then turned my data off, around 10 minutes later when I turned it back on it said I had ran out again!
please can someone help rectify because I am not using my data this much to go through 80+ GB a month

Re: Mobile Data
Have you gone through your device and turned off mobile data access for all apps that you do not want to use data as it might be that one or two are using data in the background d even if you are not using the apps yourself.

Re: Mobile Data
Hi @Advice12 there is nothing Sky can do about this, they don't log which apps etc use data in your phone. Look at your data monitor in your phone to see which apps are using the data. Have you updated firmware over mobile data?

Re: Mobile Data
As an aside you can only add 5GB of data at a time from the piggybank - have you had to repeat this process many times to get the amounts you refer to?
If this is an iPhone then perhaps your device is downloading updates in the background? (They are large)
As noted, you have to check phone counters to trace where the data is going.

Re: Mobile Data
Yes I have had to add 5gb repeatedly to get this amount.
I went through my settings and any apps not used or not used regularly have data use turned off.
Thank you for your response.
