Keeping phone number

I am currently with sky and have taken a new contact out still with sky how do I keep my phone number? As when I request a pac code with 65075 it says the pac code can't be used if I'm already with sky.

You can't use a PAC within a network.

The only way to keep your number is to port it to another network and then back in again.  (Unless Sky are prepared to apply the offer to an existing SIM but they usually won't)

The usual way is to simply move your SIM from old to new phone and not to activate any new dataplan.
