Keeping old number

I just purchased a iPhone 17 pro with an eSIM.

my previous iPhone 11 was with Sky mobile, which I've had for many years and our whole family had multiple devices under one account (in my ex wife's name)

We are no longer together, hence why I've got a new contract. But i want to keep my old number.

the usual PAC method doesn't work as it was a Sky number.

i can keep previous sim, as i no longer have access to the sky account (in ex-wife's name)

How do I keep my number?

@Tu2d  Unless you have access to the account with the old SIM on it you won't be able to port it to another SIM such as a Non Sky Pay as you go SIM.

To add to another device you'd need to access the account as per these steps

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
