Keeping my number

 Does anyone know how to keep your number if someone else paid for your phone on their sky mobile account, but youve ordered a new phone on your own account

If you have a sim card then just move it from this other phone to the one on your account.

You cannot transfer numbers between accounts.

 

Any new dataplan you activate on your account will have a new phone number.

 

The only workaround is for the account holder of your current number to port the number out of the network and for you to port it to your account.  (Usually via a PAYG SIM)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
