Increase number of times i have a poor signal

Hello, lately i seem to have more and more incidents where my mobile signal is poor (down the 3G which does nothing).  These aren't all in completed isolated places - Burnham-on-sea, Cholmondeley Castle, Anglesey to name a few. Is there a steady decline in the Sky coverage (which i hoped would be getting better if they are switching off 3G) - people on competing networks seem to have coverage in these places.

Hi @Pete+Timo  as sky use O2 network then if thats oversubscribed in these areas you may struggle to get better signal. Not sure what you can do to check this though.

I've experience the very same issue, to the point where I'm now looking to exit my contract. Really poor, just like Pete+Timon this is happening in urban areas (Dunfermline and Edinburgh), it  isn't an issue for other networks and don't know where to go next?

Is there any mast outages in those areas?

If not & it's becoming a problem you may have to consider another provider. I moved to smarty when I noticed a decline in coverage - now I get excellent coverage in those places I had none.

Re: Increase number of times i have a poor signal

Thanks for the replies. My issues seem to happen in multiple places. As sky seems to say they have 99% coverage then i wonder if, as they use the O2 network like mentioned, they've reduced how much they pay or something which lowers priority (assume it works something like that). Currently the solution feels like a new provider.
