Incorret website description

I've been looking to replace my outdated Kindle fire for a while but on a very strict budget.

Everything I use is Samsung (Fold 6, Buds, Chrome book, Watch etc)

I chose the Galaxy S10 Lite 5g at just £10 a month.

The tablet itself is fantastic. Fast, really sturdy with a quite lot of weight time it with the metal casing ( I've got the red but it's actually hot pink and looks great.

However upon purchase it informed me it was esim compatible and it was just one less hassle so I went for that not that it really mattered. After hours of trying to activate the esim to no avail I started doing my research and it IS NOT esim compatible.

If like me its a new tablet contract with a new sim I wrote this to help sa e time for others.

I had no option available to do anything except activate the esim or convert physical sim to esim.

Eventually I contacted sky chat and ordered a new physical sim.

If like me your not in need of an esim device then this is definitely worth £10 a month.

The easiest way to check is dial *#06# from the tablet and it will bring up the sim details.  Then settings>connections.  If manage sim comes up its compatible,  if  not just stop and order a sim and save yourself a few hours .

Hope this helps!!!!

It must be a checkout issue as the page listing does not state it's eSIM.  The 'About eSIM' tab does have a link to the compatibility page and that model is not listed...

But if it did offer an eSIM on checkout then that does indeed appear incorrect...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
