I want to return my phone and switch to sim only

I'm considering returning my phone and watch to Sky and just going onto a Sim only plan. The daft helpbot is particularly unhelpful in getting answers

You can only return your phone within the initial 31 day cooling off period.  If so, call Sky to arrange this (Call 150).

@RM72 I've only seen that mentioned as part of the swap process, if you're outside of the initial cooling off period then as far as I'm aware there is no option to return the device in exchange for paying off the credit agreement.
