How long to receive a refund after sending phone back?

I got my daughter a Iphone 16c, she didnt like it so we sent it back, it must have been about four days after we took the contract out. Sky sent us a pre paid envelope to send it back. They recieved the phone back on the 10/11/2025. I havent had any email or anything to confirm they have recieved it. They have already taken 1 payment out and are due to take another tomorrow. I have spoke  three times on chat about this. I was told this on the 27th by a man named "Stanny" I have raised the case to the escalation team since I see the investigation was raised earlier and it was not resolved you should receive the refund in 3-5 days okay"

 

I then contacted them today and was told this by a lady named Tanush "there seems to be an issue with the system, so I’ll raise an escalation case on this matter. This is quite usual when a return has been made. I’ll escalate it to the backend team for investigation, and they’ll provide an update within 48–72 hours. Could you please share your contact details so we can keep you informed?"

 

Has this happened with anyone else and how long did it take to get a refund???

Usually returned phones take 3 weeks to be processed so as it is beyond that you really should have heard something by now so you might want to put in a complaint about this:
