Help please I cannot activate my new sim card

Hi, I've just followed all the steps to activate my sim and as soon as I press on it, says "sorry we're  having some technical issues.go onto my sky app to continue". I did so and the same message is still coming up, even though I am on the app?

Do you have another phone that you can call Sky on, if not they can be contacted via their social media channels as there are links to these at the bottom of this page.

Thank you for replying,

I have tried the chat bot but it keeps refering me back to here. So it looks like the only option is to phone them.
