Esim trying to add but says code invalid or already used

I already have an esim on my phone which is a vodafone one, but will be getting  rid shortly, tried changing my sim to esim but that's what message I recieve

I would guess that your phone can't take two esims unless you know otherwise ?

It can it's a samsung galaxy s23 ultra. I think the issue was when setting it up it had trouble recognising my activation code. After a jot of reading up I think I need to phone sky about it to see if it can be reset or resent. We'll see
