ESim won't activate

I received a new handset today and I tried activating the eSim provided using the QR code and entering the code but it fails to activate. I've then tried to transfer the sim from my old handset - my old handset shows the sim has been transferred to my new handset but the sim didn't appear as an esim on my new handset. I have then taken the sim out of my old hand set and placed this in my new handset but I'm still unable to make calls., and now unable to make calls from either handset. Could someone please advise on what I need to do?

If you have moved a physical sim from your old phone to the new one then it should download the relevant settings and then work for you so if it doesn't do this then try getting the settings sent to it:

 

Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.
