Discounted bill

Hi, please can anyone confirm that I've been told the correct information.

We have had  two mobile SIMs with sky for years, currently £11 per month and after I asked for a discount, mainly because I hardly ever use data on one so it's expensive for not getting data, they offered me them at £5 per month. But, they new contracts say £10 per month so I quired this and was told as it's a downgrade it will show as £10 until the billng period 27 th August shows £5. This makes no sense to me and has never happened before when they reduce prices of things. I'm a diamond member and been with sky 21 or so years. Plus how is it a downgrade as we are still getting 3GB of data, unlimited calls and texts?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like they are offering you a discount on the sims. You need to look further ahead and see if future bills (September >) reflect the amount you're expecting.

Re: Discounted bill

Thanks for your reply.

It shows the same, £10 each person,  for August, September and November.

@ruth007

The 3GB tariff is currently £10 per month undiscounted. So you aren't getting any discount there unless it's £5 per sim therefore a total of £10. I'm also on the same 3GB per month plan but with a discount. Sky should also have sent you emails for each sim outlining the new agreed price.

You perhaps need to call Sky again and discuss. Give them the date and rough time of the original call and they should be able to listen back to it and confirm what was agreed.

Re: Discounted bill

Thanks. That's what I thought. I did get an email for each SIM and each one says £10 a month. I will call them again. I just hate being blatantly lied to by them.
