Disaster of a mobile migration

I had two phone numbers with Vodaone Ireland and wanted to move to unlimited on Sky Mobile.

 

Migrated my number with no problem on Sunday and as everything went well I decided to migrate my wifes phone as well.

 

I called from my mobile so I could lookup texts on the other mobile with no issue.

 

I had validated the number via text and was agreeing to the new contract when the line dropped.

 

I called back and found I could not validate the second phone as it had lost network connection.

 

My phone had somehow got the second phones number with my own number now unusable.

 

I spent the rest of this afternoon on to various people from Sky and it is not clear how or when this will be sorted out.

Got a complaint number of sky mobile yesterday, going to comreg this morning.
