Disappointed

I have been trying to purchase a new phone and data contract online but there are no payment options at checkout just phone number. So I spoke to an agent on live chat for an hour telling them so many times what phone I want and what data plan my email address over and over. I have an account for my sky glass which they had in front of them. Spent another hour going through everything eventually made payment then the representative cancelled payment said there's an issue (which there isn't from my end) sent payment details again which I didn't understand why the said they will transfer me to someone who can help this was at 21.20. The dept they transferred me to closed at 21.00. I'm now wondering why an earth am I trying to take out a phone contract with sky if this frustratingly hard work to get absolutely nowhere is the best they can do, it's taken over an hour and a now concerned that I've made payment which has been cancelled has someone copied my payment details. I'm somewhat peeved off to say the least

Instead of using the live chat I would call Sky tomorrow and speak to them to find out what the status is of this order and if it has gone through.

The whole point of using the website was to avoid a long drawn out conversation after waiting in a queue for gawd knows how long. Sadly using the website then live chat turned into an even longer drawn out catastrophe. I'm hoping it hasn't gone through I'm having second thoughts about a sky mobile deal if this is how hard it is to get a phone contract how hard will it to be to sort out any issues that may arise after I'm in contract.
