Data roaming

I have turned mobile data off on my phone and set international data to never. I'm using hotel data but it's just come up your now charging me £2 for data roaming what's going on??

Hi @Bush12345  when did you turn it off as if you were abroad when you did this you will likely have triggered the first daily charge. Also making a call or sending a text can trigger the charge.

This can catch people out - turning off data roaming does not stop your phone connecting to the cellular services (Phone calls / SMS).

 

The charge can be triggered once connected to cellular.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
