Data and calls not working
Hi, I got a new sky mobile last week and I don't seem to be able to use my phone when I am outside and not on my home WiFi. I can't access the internet or make calls. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? When I have checked the mobile service it has a travel and primary option. I don't know what this means. Thanks.

When you go this new phone to you move the sim from another one to this one, if so try getting the APN settings sent to it:
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

I got a new sim from sky and moved my number from another provider.
I will try this. Thanks for your help.

Hi, where do the new network setting go? in orde to save them?

The settings will be automatically saved on your phone when they are sent to it which you can do via here:
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.

Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

I had to send the phone back, and cancel my contract, as I was very frustrated with the call centres help. They didnt seem to understand what I was meaning when I tried to explain that there were two lines, Personal PE, and Private PR, he was actually asking ME what that was!!, cuffing hopless. The result was he was going to send out a new SIM, again, this would have been the 3rd, so had to cancel.
