Daily charge of £0.95 for messaging my partner in the UK (also sky mobile customer)

Hello, I was expecting my bill to be £10 this month however instead it is £29. It was much higher last month but that seems to have been down to roaming charges abroad (although will need to double check this now). Whilst looking at this months bill I have been charged over £25 for text messages even though I have unlimited texts. When I clicked on the link to investigate further it appears I have been charged £0.95 each day I have messaged my partner who is a UK Sky mobile customer and has not been out of the country. Why have I been charged this? I really would not expect this as it doesn't make sense that his number would be excluded from unlimited texts! I definitely should not be charged for sending texts to him in the UK on a UK number!

If they were long messages then MMS is used instead which is chargeable.  (Or contain emojis)

i recommend disabling MMS and/or use a data-based messaging service such as WhatsApp.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Hollie44

As @PandJ2020 has indicated texts to UK mobiles are inclusive but mms messages are charged at 95p each.
