Trying to get a new contract and whilst filling out some information it did a credit check without any of my financial information etc and automatically denied me to continue.how can I be denied without giving any information or anything

Hi @ConnerDean credit checks can be carried out against your name/date of birth/address without any financial information needed from you.

Most companies using credit scoring - if you do not meet the required score then they will not give you the requested credit.

They do not have to tell you why either.

Worth checking your record just in case there's something there you are unaware of.
