Charging Issues with Samsung

Hi, My husband and I both have contract phones with Sky. Previously we had Samsung s23s and upgraded to the S25 at the end of March. My husband had issues charging his old phone towards the end of his contract. It would start charging but then stop a few seconds later. He'd turn the charger round and it would start charging. It also stopped fast charging and he thought it may be the phone as it was nearly 3 years old. Now with the S25s we are both having issues with the charging ports. Sometimes they will charge, sometimes they won't, which obviously is a problem, especially since both of us rely on our phones for different medical reasons. We both use the Samsung cables provided with our phones and the plugs are what came with our Samsung S23s. Neither of our phones would charge last night when we went to bed. This morning we tried again, mine worked on the same charger as the night before. My husband had to charge his downstairs on a white samsung plug on a small white cable. It's so frustrating. We turn the chargers off when not in use, they're away from moisture and other hazards and we don't keep them bound around anything. Please can anybody shed some light on this.

Have you tried a replacement cable, that seems to be the common part with these issues?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @LUFCPinky  i would try different chargers/leads as it's unlikely both phones have faulty charging sockets.
