The problem started yesterday, my iphone 14 plus will not hold charge. It has been on charge overnnight and got up to 71%. I am now using the phone whilst it is on charge and its going down in battery percentage instead of up. even if i leave my phone not in use whilst on charge it is still going down. ive only had this phone a month and have always had apple products and never experienced this problem before.

I have the same problem but also get a message saying that "liquid detection' is stopping the phone from charging after about 10 mins charging... doesn't matter where I plug it in it happens when phone has a bout 2%, 25% or even charges to 70%

I have an apple 15, it refuses to charge to max, it will only charge upto 25% and then ' liquid detection' stops it charging further.. I've tried different leads sockets and plugs... sometimes it works but there is no liquid in the phone..

Find out more@Kaklakvak You will have to follow the advice in the link by @63johnw or you could take it in to your local Apple store, be aware though if after inspection it shows liquid is present or has been present and is causing the fault it won't be covered by the warranty and you will have to pay for any repair.
