Charge for a 14713 number

I have a .70p charge for a call that it says we made to a 14713 number. I've looked online and can see that this has occured to a number of people. We received multiple calls overnight with noone there so did 1471 to see who was calling but no number came up. It now appears this shows up as 14713 number on my bill with a charge of 70p. I'm not worried about the money but there is obviously something wrong here. Tried the Sky chatbot for help but lost the will to live.

I believe 1471-3 is a request to call the number and is a chargeable service.

Thanks, I believe you're right but repeated calls at 2am feels like it's a deliberate attempt at a scam, but other than Sky getting the fee I dont see who benefits.

The scammers as they would charge a fortune for the call if you connected to them.
